Q. Who Actually Makes All of the Truffles and Chocolates?

A. Our owner and Chocolatier, Justin A. Morey handcrafts each and every bonbon daily.

Q. What is Your Base Chocolate?

A. J.A. Morey Artisan Chocolate uses a special blend of chocolate that is shipped to our commercial kitchen in block form. The tablets are transformed into liquid via a gigantic old school cast iron double jacket melting machine. Once our chocolate has been thoroughly mixed it’s transferred to a large tempering unit until ready for use.

Q. What Makes Your Chocolates Different from the Rest?

A. Given my twenty years plus of experience, combined with incorporating classic recipes that have been perfected with consistency time after time, each of the fillings are crafted with artisan care and meticulous attention to detail. There are no commercial machines being employed during the production. Nothing is outsourced to reduce labor costs. Although similar in appearance, no two pieces are alike visually making each experience extra special. Eating bonbons from J.A. Morey Artisan Chocolate is a full sensory experience and have been described by those who have tried it as taking in an elevated work of art. - Justin A. Morey
